Stopped at Raymond RV Park

Wonderful to wake up this morning to the sound of rain!  After a breakfast steps from our site, Norm picked some blackberries from around the campground.  They were plentiful.

Driving in the rain through the rain forest

As usual, when we passed a sign for a fish hatchery Norm insisted we stop.

We decided to head to the water's edge and explored the small town of Ocean City where we camped in 2009.

Had to visit the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino

We've lucked out again in finding a spot at Raymond RV Park, a 12 site campground beside the Willapa River.  There have been intermittent showers all day and the high was 63 degrees.  It will clear up overnight and will warm up to a high of 86 on Tuesday before dropping again.  We are loving this weather!

This catamaran belongs to the owners of the campground and they have been building it for a few years - it was here 3 years ago when we stopped here

The routine - upload photos to laptop, caption, write blog, publish...
