What a joy!   When I got up this morning and went out for a walk I needed a SWEATER!  Hallelujah,  fantastic!

Started our drive around the Olympia Peninsula.  We saw a sign for Log Cabin Resort and decided to check it out.   Fabulous!  A wonderful spot to take a family for a couple of weeks and keep everyone occupied.

Then we had the most scenic drive around Lake Crescent which seemed to go on forever.
The drive for the next couple of hours not the greatest as the road was a narrow two lane road and all you saw was trees and more trees.  The road was quite lumpy and there was a reasonable amount of traffic.

We tried calling around for a site but everything was booked.   As we came close to Amanda Park we decided to stop and stretch.   I was surprised to see there was a hotel here because I didn't see it online.   Norm noticed there were 5 campsites beside the hotel so went to the office that had a big sign on the door "Sorry no vacancy".  He rang the bell and when they answered they had one campsite left!   How lucky.

It's a lovely spot.   Would be very happy if all our campsites were like this and this size.
