A bit of a tortuous day because of the heat which we don't handle well.
We were going to go Hwy 101 to Hwy 41 to I5 but when we got to Santa Maria we couldn't remember if we'd ever driven Hwy 166 so we went that way instead.
An interesting highway, very scenic, very different. We think it will be a fabulous drive in the winter after some rain.

We stopped in Maricopa to stretch the back and legs and Norm put on his hat, opened the door, shut the door and said "that was fun, let's get out of here! " Ha ha ha, too hot to step outside.
I5 is very boring so we will be looking at going a different highway for tomorrow.

Interesting that this campsite has 22 cable channels but scanned 55 channels on air so we didn't bother connecting the cable.
