The overnight temperature dropped to 63 last night so we were able to turn off the air conditioner and tonight it is supposed to drop to 50 degrees!  

The drive this morning was interesting.   Green all day but the elevation kept changing so it was high desert and then tall pines,  then high desert and tall pines.  Two lane road and very quiet.

We made a stop at the Modoc National Wildlife Refuge.

Lots of Canada Geese

10 years ago we stopped at Jerry's Restaurant in Lakeview for breakfast and today we had lunch at Jerry's Restaurant.  The place has aged and looks like maintenance has been non existent.
