Quite a day of changes, up and down mountains, miles of wheat fields, reasonable temperatures and stinking hot.

The morning was a bit tense at times. Ran into flashing signs a couple of times that said there was fire activity ahead and there was no stopping allowed. We had some pretty heavy smoke for about half an hour and then medium smoke for about 3 hours.
We made a stop in Cottonwood to see the B&B. Just adorable.

Found our way to this campground on an island on the Spokane River. Fun!
